If your pet is in crisis

This website cannot help a pet in an emergency. Do not use this site, email, or a web form to report an urgent problem.

Call us at 936-320-0080 during our posted hours. If your pet cannot wait until we open, go to the nearest 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital, then call us for follow-up care.

No veterinary advice and no doctor-patient relationship

The content on this site, including service pages and any guides or articles, is general information only. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment recommendation, and not a substitute for examining your pet.

Reading this site, calling us, sending us an email, or filling out a form does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship. That relationship begins only when a veterinarian at 242 Animal Hospital examines your pet in person.

Pricing

The exam fee shown on this site covers the examination only. Diagnostics, medications, procedures, surgery, hospitalization, and other services are priced separately and quoted to you before we proceed.

Prices shown on this site are current as of the date posted and may change without notice. Nothing on this site is a binding quote, a guaranteed total, or an offer of a specific treatment plan. Your written estimate at the time of your visit governs.

Hours, walk-ins, and availability

Our posted hours may change, and the open or closed indicator on this site depends on your device and may not be current. Hours are also subject to holidays and unplanned closures. Call before you travel.

Walk-ins are welcome during posted hours. We see patients based on medical urgency and available capacity, which means wait times vary and we cannot guarantee that every walk-in will be seen before we close.

Communications

By giving us your phone number you agree that we may call or text you about your pet's care. Marketing calls and texts require your separate consent, which you can withdraw at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.
